April Pritchard can be found tending her herb starts or greeting you with a smile at the Friday Farmers Market Everett Mall. April has been literally growing her business for years. She has always had a love for gardening, which blossomed from her mother.
She enjoys growing herbs that can be used for useful things. “It’s quite exciting to make something, like bug spray out of my herbs. It works and it’s organic” April beams with excitement as she shakes a bottle.
Gardens have been a part of April for as long as she can remember. She loves being at the market to share her knowledge of growing and provide people with items that they can use every day.
She sells herb starts, dried herbs, bug sprays, ladybugs and more. Yes, she has ladybugs! April’s father harvests them from the Sierra Nevada’s and sends them to her. It’s really neat to see them asleep in a container and then come to life with the warmth of your hand.
April can also be found at the Mukilteo Farmers Market on Wednesday, Snohomish Farmers Market on Thursday and the Sunday Everett Farmers Market on the waterfront. Contact her via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Check out her latest creation this Friday at the Friday Farmers Market Everett Mall – Re-suable produce bags. This is a great way to naturally be good to the earth and carry something yummy home.
